$\"\"$ <\/a>Op zondag 11 november 2018 is het precies 100 jaar geleden dat de Eerste Wereldoorlog werd be\u00ebindigd. In Groot-Brittanni\u00eb heeft dat geleid tot het\u00a0<\/span>initiatief <\/span>\u2018Ringing<\/span> out for Peace, Armistice <\/span>100<\/span>\u2019 (Luiden voor Vrede,<\/span> Wapenstilstand 100). Zij herdenken het einde van de Grote Oorlog \u00e9n de 1400 klokkenluiders die tijdens de oorlog gevallen zijn. De organisatie wil zich nu verenigen om een vredesboodschap over de hele wereld te verspreiden. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nederland was niet direct betrokken bij de Eerste Wereldoorlog, maar indirect wel. Solidair zijn met dit initiatief is een mooie geste om achter de vredesboodschap te staan en onze 1400 Engelse gevallen mede-klokkenluiders van weleer te herdenken. De organisatie heeft tal van activiteiten georganiseerd (waaronder het werven van 1400 nieuwe klokluiders)<\/span>. Hoofddoel is dat men zoveel mogelijk klokken wil l<\/span>aten luiden.<\/span> <\/span>\u201cWe would love all ringers around the world to do something special this day to ring out for peace, and to send in their ideas to share with others.<\/span>\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Het Gilde van Clocklueders<\/a>\u00a0in Anloo geeft graag gehoor aan deze oproep en zal op 11 november om stipt 19.05 uur de klok van de Magnuskerk luiden. Dit gebeurt tijdens een herdenkingsbijeenkomst met het volgende programma:<\/span><\/p>\n
